During my stay, I loved the hot tub on my private balcony overlooking the river. The location was perfect for accessing Machu Picchu early in the morning. I paid a premium for the Suite River View, but there was no hot water for the tub, making my planned relaxation impossible. Additionally, the bed was uncomfortable, and I even found mold in the shower, which was quite concerning. For $240 a night, I expected much better cleanliness and amenities, which soured the excitement of my trip.
